"This was such a great find. I was looking for breakfast while staying around Letchworth State Park and came in around 6:30. Definitely a local place where the few folks inside knew each other which is a nice atmosphere. I was very pleasantly surprised with the big portion sizes and the cheap price. Great omelet and pancakes!"

"Had breakfast while visiting family. Most outstanding delicious down home breakfast ever. Short stack melted in your mouth, skillet with farmers sausage, delicious biscuits and gravy. I could give 50 stars I would.! I’m from the south and the biscuits and gravy here blow it away."

"You can find some of the best breakfast in the area at this restaurant. Everything they make is delicious. So many good options and good portions. Delicious coffee. They make a very yummy sausage and ypu can buy some to make at home."

"I stopped into this lovely local family restaurant for a nice breakfast before spending all day out birding the area around Silver Lake for the Letchworth-Silver Lake Christmas Bird Count, and it hit the spot! Quaint and clean with only about a dozen tables and a single cheery and helpful server. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits and a breakfast sandwich. The gravy and biscuits tasted different than what I'm used to, but were very good. The breakfast sandwich was also well done. The grilled hard roll had a nice crunch rim with a sausage patty, fried egg, and cheese in between. There was also a nice tower of shelving directly inside the front door selling local products including candies and syrups. I bought a chocolate covered cherry cluster."

"Quaint little restaurant with definite "small town vibes!" Staff was friendly with all the "locals" and those of us just passing through. We had a great breakfast at a great price! Hubby's HUGE pancakes were light and fluffy with eggs cooked too perfection. I had the French Toast stuffed with raspberry and cream cheese - a definite, slightly sweeter treat for breakfast!"

"Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and nothing is better than Homemade food. John & Sarah's was amazing and Homemade food at it's finest. Menu was great and had amazing specials. But what really put them over the edge,, was their Homemade pies. I order one for dessert and two to go.. Staff was great as well. Definitely planning on going back again soon."

"GIGANTIC portions!!! Delish. We had about a 10 minute wait Sunday morning brunch but were seated to a nice, clean spot. The service was prompt and pleasant. Accommodated our individual orders and had nice sized to-go boxes to handle all the leftovers. Super filling and creative breakfast food options."
